About the Role
As a key member of AESC US LLC, you will play a crucial role in developing and overseeing the cost management program, performing cost analysis, cost reporting, conducting bid analysis, and analyzing budget variances. Your expertise will contribute to the successful monitoring of Engineering Procurement Construction related activities, and providing strategic insights to ensure cost-effectiveness and overall project success. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in standardizing project progress reporting and coordinating cross-functional information sharing.
What You Will Do
Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members, customers, and other stakeholders to achieve cost and project objectives effectively
Lead the development and implementation of cost management programs for construction projects, overseeing approved budgets, total commitments, cost incurred, invoiced costs, and cost projections
Mentor and support team members in financial reporting, cost tracking, and analysis functions
Chair workshops for aligning teams on key project issues and cost-effective solutions
Work with stakeholders to identify and track project risks
Analyze cost data, historical records, and market trends to ensure accurate and competitive estimates
Provide rough order of magnitude estimates for design changes
Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering initiatives
Coordinate workshops for alignment on key issues and design changes
Responsible for weekly financial reporting; working with the Project Management team to develop and refine financial reporting strategies, goals, and metrics
Oversee the change management process for accurate cost projections
Provides support to project financial reporting and trending functions and the invoice/billing review process as required.
Track historical costs for benchmarking data to support estimating and procurement teams
What You Need
5+ years in project controls preferably in industrial and manufacturing
Understanding of construction means and methods in the civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines
Proficient analytical skills for interpreting data, and comprehensive understanding of technical and legal materials
Demonstrated innovation and attention to detail, particularly in managing highly visible or controversial projects
Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority assignments effectively
Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with staff and stakeholders
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
What is “Nice to Have”?
Strong proficiency in software systems and packages including AutoDesk Cloud, Oracle Unifier, P6, Bluebeam, CAD, and other construction packages
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, engineering management or related field
Manufacturing, pharmaceutical/
