The Kennebunkportport Inn is seeking a full-time Front Desk Agent!

An ideal Front Desk Agent would be able to make our guests feel special while welcoming and providing them with the answers they need, along with an invitation to return.

Our unique collection of award-winning hotels provides guests with intriguing and rejuvenating experiences.

If you are ready to help provide over-the-top service and transport guests far from everyday reality, we would love for you to join our team!

Candidates must be flexible and consider themselves a people person.

Days will consist of greeting our guests, handling telephone inquiries, managing reservations, coordinating housekeeping, and room inspections.

Job Requirements: * Able to work morning, mid, or evening shifts as required * Able to work weekends, holidays, or special events as required * Strong organizational abilities * Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine desire to be helpful * Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills * Strong computer skills including how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, publisher, etc * Good knowledge of the Kennebunkport area and things to do and places to go * Flexibility to jump in and help other departments when necessary Essential Job Functions - Guest Service: * Maintains guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel, constantly seeking ways to delight our guests * Personally, demonstrates a commitment to guest service by responding promptly to guest needs with an interest and concern in satisfying every guest * Smiling and greeting all guests by name when possible.

Welcoming returning guests back with enthusiasm and acknowledging houseguests * Ensures hotel standards and services contribute to the delivery of consistent guest service * Establishes a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality * Demonstrates consistent anticipation of guests' needs * Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management
