Job Summary:

Set up all Tupelo presses from 700 ton to 3000 ton, while ensuring quality and productivity standards are met. Completes all necessary documentation.

Essential Functions:

Complete press set-ups in a safe and timely manner.

Pre-stage next dies

Problem solve automation problem s as they arise (i.e. decoiler, feeder, die, etc)

Ability to set dies

Complete all necessary documentation correctly and in a timely manner.

Serve as a Spotter when needed

Provide assistance when needed

Follow work instructions and verbal directions to meet targeted production quotas.

Abide by all company polices including, but not limited to the following; Health and safety, Quality and

Environmental Systems, Human resources policies, and Martinrea Employee Handbook

Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and legislation including Environmental Legislation, and

Occupational Safety and Health and Safety Act

Competency Level 1 all systems where personnel need to have a basic understanding of the processes and interactions as determined by the team

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must be able to read and write in English

Forklift and Crane certification

Minimum 6 month experience in a press machine operation and setup

Experience with measuring equipment

Strong ability to trouble shoot and problem solve technical issues
