About this position at Lightspeed LA

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Social Media Community Manager to join our in-house team to work on a new and exciting open-world, AAA game. We are seeking someone who will bring passion to the role, collaborating closely with Marketing and Publishing and other disciplinary teams, to help create and foster a community of ambassadors for our game and studio. Below is an outline of responsibilities and some of the qualities we look for in the ideal teammate.

Requirements:

Formulate strategies and tactics to facilitate the substantial expansion of social media presence for a new IP and gaming studio. The focus is on fostering heightened engagement rates, alongside increasing reach and follower counts.

Develop a comprehensive community management strategy, actively cultivating conversations and promptly responding to those interacting with our content.

Engage with influencers and content creators and work to develop successful relationship management to amplify the game's presence.

Take ownership of the content calendar for all brand social media channels. Collaborate closely with the Corporate Communications team to maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure relevance to the audience. Responsible for ideating content and storytelling, collaborating with the creative team for execution.

Collaborate effectively with marketing/publishing teams, development teams, and external partners to amplify our media hits across all channels. Repurpose content strategically to drive awareness, consideration, and conversions.

Oversee and manage the budget and relationship with social media agencies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.

Responsible for monitoring and optimizing the posting schedule, incorporating best practices; utilize content platform to schedule posts and analyze data

Requirements:

Proven experience in community management within the gaming industry.

Familiarity with social best practices within the gaming and entertainment landscape.

Experience in building and cultivating a social community from the ground up.

Demonstrate a profound understanding of social media, adapting to the changing landscape, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends

Desirable Skills & Experience:

Creative and strategic thinking with a passion for innovation and optimizing performance.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Passion for staying current with newest social platform updates and ability to build relationships with those partners

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $64,900 to $162,280 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
