Overview:

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Jr. Software Environment Engineer on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

Responsibilities:

Incrementally builds functionality for DevSecOps product verticals

Participates in sprint planning and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile related events

Tracks and communicates oval progress against assigned user stories

Updates agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs

Assists with internal and external communication

Provides complexity estimates through story selection and task definition

Promotes a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity and innovation

Qualifications:

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with eligibiity to obtain CI poly

Degree and Years of Experience: Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, and work experience

2+ years of experience working within the DoD or IC Community

Required Certifications:

Sec+ certification or ability to obtain Security+ certification within 90 days of hire

Desired Certifications:

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification

Required Skills:

Experience working in dynamic team-based environment

Understanding of DevSecOps and /or software/application development processes

Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g. Javscript, Python)

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Experience with web-based Knowledge Management and workflow tools

Desired Skills:

Experience with Atlassian Agile Products; specifically, JIRA and Confluence
