Job Purpose:
The Cost Standards Engineer will support the costing process at FXI through creating, maintaining, and updating the product costing standards across the organization. The selected individual will work cross-functionally to ensure product costing standards are in place across the organization, which ultimately, will ensure alignment, accuracy, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Ensure Product Costing Standards are in place and up to date across the organization
Support and ensure alignment with plant budgeted standards (plant cost/forecasted sales)
Work and align cross functionally with operations and engineering on effect of proposed changes and coordinate with FP&A
Support the quoting team in developing accurate standards for new capital and layouts and workflow within the plants
Coordinate and help develop efficiency metrics within and across the plants
Drive for efficiency, alignment, and accuracy across the plants
Analyze variations from standards and ensure root causes are identified and improvements are in place
Perform fixed and variable cost analysis for both operations and overhead within and across the plants
Drive best practice sharing across the plants

Qualifications:
BA / BS Mechanical, Quality, or Industrial Engineering
4 plus years extensive manufacturing cost accounting experience
Lean manufacturing/green belt certification
Experience with SAP, Hyperion, Essbase, Power BI, MS Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint)
Ability to perform daily analytics, auditing, diagnosis, and coordination of cost accounting standards across plants
Ability to drive and reinforce cost accounting standards
Ability to conduct time studies and translate findings cost savings
Create MRP capacity planning models across plants
Ability to identify, communicate and collaborate plant shop floor differences and successes
Extensive experience working collaboratively with teams and a wide range of stakeholders
Up to 30% travel
