Role Description

Accompany/manage challenging consulting projects in the payments transactions environment, including testing activities and close support for implementation

Work with a high level of client focus, leveraging your own experience and those of your Capco colleagues

Work closely with business analysts and developers to design payment solutions that meet business objectives

Depending on your seniority and as the project progresses, you will challenge and support your colleagues, giving them increasing responsibility for their topics, including leading sub-projects and smaller project teams

In addition to project work, you will have the opportunity to get involved in various internal topics and implement your own ideas to further your professional and personal development

Skills and Expertise

Previous experience in software testing and understanding of the Payments domain (SEPA, SWIFT)

Understanding of financial messaging standards including ISO 20022, EBICS, ISO 15022

Understanding of end-to-end payment processing workflows, inbound/outbound messages, happy and error scenarios

User-level knowledge in test management tools for test case execution (Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing), and reporting (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, HP-ALM)

Knowledge and proficiency of different testing types, including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, and security testing

Experience in creating and executing test cases, test scripts, test plans and maintaining test documentation, and test summary reports

Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, Ruby, or languages used for Automation

Familiarity with popular test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or others

Fluent in English and at least understanding of written German
