The Personal Lines Assistant Account Manager is responsible for helping the Personal Lines Account Managers and department managers with rating their new business accounts and other account management tasks.
Responsibilities
The Personal Lines Assistant Account Manager works directly at the direction of the Personal Lines Account Managers.
Answer incoming calls/emails and assist with questions about insurance policies and insurance coverage issues, as well as consumer complaints and general inquiries
Process client policy changes, verify coverages, and customer inquiries upon request.
Assist with issuing certificates of insurance for our Personal Lines division
Handle all incoming mail to the Agency as well as Faxing for the Account Managers
Assist with sending out renewal letters, amended documents, cancellations, etc.
Update claims and loss update notices to companies
Perform other specific duties as assigned by the personal lines account manager
Qualifications
Must have an active Property and Casualty Insurance License
Knowledge of ImageRight software preferred
Comfortable answering phones and communicating with clients
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Prior experience in the insurance industry
