Our Food & Beverage team at Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a passionate and attentive host/hostess for our Coastal Italian restaurant, Saint Bibiana. Our host/hostess is the first impression of our restaurant and sets the tone for the dining experience. In this role, you will act as a brand ambassador, ensuring each of our guests feels their presence is expected and welcome and that we are excited about their dining experience.
Responsibilities
Extend guests a warm and gracious welcome and escort them to their table
Be attentive to guest’s needs and assist in providing an exceptional and memorable dining experience
Maintain a clean and well-organized front of the house environment
Perform opening and closing duties
Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials
Manage guest reservation system
Qualifications
Hard-working team player with a positive attitude
Passionate about hospitality, dependable and detail-oriented
Excellent presentation and grooming standards
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organization and communications skills
Proficient with computer applications
Ability to endure abundant physical movements in various work areas
