Job Description: As a Design Engineer you will play a crucial role in conceptualising, designing, and developing tools and components for automotive manufacturing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new ideas from initial concept through to production, ensuring designs meet both performance and cost criteria.

Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop tools, jigs, fixtures, and molds for the production of automotive components using CAD software.

- Enhance and optimize the design of automotive parts to improve performance, manufacturing efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that designs are feasible for production and resolve any production issues related to design.

- Conduct simulations and stress analysis to verify design specifications and compliance with industry standards.

- Participate in prototype testing and iterate designs based on feedback.

- Document design processes and results, maintaining detailed and organized records for project continuity.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in automotive design and toolmaking.

Qualifications: - HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a completed apprenticeship in a related sector.

- Minimum 1 years of experience in a design engineering role, preferably in the automotive industry.

- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.

- Strong understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and quality control measures relevant to automotive manufacturing.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
