Responsibilities:

Reviews prepared financial statements for accuracy and provides analysis and interpretation of the financial data.

Cross trains with other department members, under the direction of the accounting supervisor and/or manager.

Prepares or reviews audit schedules and bank reconciliation reports, as necessary.

Prepares various month-end accruals.

Initiates or responds to calls and other inquiries regarding accounting or financial matters.

Assists with budget planning and preparation.

Initiates requests and collects data and reports for month-end close.

Performs other duties which could include:Payroll related accounting –Ensuring all payroll transactions are recorded to the general ledger timely and accurately.

Reconciling payroll related accounts – taxes, benefits, etc.

All of our Accounting positions require strong organizational skills, attention to detail and competency in Microsoft Excel

Qualifications:

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

Strong computer and software skills and proficient with spreadsheet applications.

PreferredOne year accounting experience.

Experience with Peoplesoft application.
