Job Description

The Customer Service Representative provides a vital link between the management staff and the outside operation. Exclusively provides service to parkers needing assistance upon request. This position will ensure that staff completes all assigned public and employee parking related tasks and must have the ability to perform staff duties as needed. Available during normal working hours or at such other times as the operational management of the Parking Enterprise may require. This position reports to the Operations Manager for Hudson, and for purposes of the project the Manager on Duty.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Capable of developing knowledge of Airport procedures, Operator’s Standard Operating Procedures, as well as industry standards and trends.

Knowledge scope of operations includes but not limited to:

Compliance with all Government Regulations

Customer service

Performing “Vehicle Inspection” of the company vehicle you will be driving during your shift. This MUST be completed BEFORE the beginning of your duties. Report any vehicle or property damage immediately to your manager.

Responsible for all customer service assistance calls including jump starts, vehicle location and providing air, water, and gasoline. For all assistance calls EXCEPT vehicle location, a Release of Liability Waiver MUST be completed, and customer signature obtained BEFORE the start of assistance. Safety practices must be followed.

Maintains ticket levels in all ticket dispensers. These levels should be checked at least once during each shift.

Directs traffic when needed.

Performs minor repairs on entrance and exit equipment – loading tickets, un-jamming devices, etc.

CSR’s are expected to try fixing equipment problems.

If a problem with equipment cannot be repaired, inform the MOD on duty.

Directs patrons to locations with parking availability when required.

Supplies basic directions and information to customers.

Communicates frequently with the Operation’s Manager to keep them abreast of activities occurring in the facility.

Patrol Parking Lots several times during your shift.

Monitor trash cans in all lots including valet lots and empty when needed.

Report suspicious persons or activity to the Manager on duty

Report needed repairs to Parking management.

All other duties as assigned.

Experience and/or Education:

Proven excellent organizational skills to include:

Educational background

High School Graduate

Some College, trade, or relevant experience

Must maintain a clean driving record.

Performance Standards/Goals:

Physical demands are representative of those primarily encountered in an office environment.

Environmental factors are described as representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this job.

95% or more the functions are performed outside so regular exposure to job sites will occasionally expose one to extreme weather and noise levels.
