Accounting Specialist

Job Description

As Accounting Specialist you report to the EVENTIM USA Chief Financial Officer.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems

Prepare and maintain financial records to track the organizations assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities

Assist the CFO in daily accounting operations

Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for management

Participate in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and longer-range planning activities

Identify and implement process improvements

Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior leadership

Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements

Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests

YOUR KEY KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

3+ years of experience in Accounting, experience in Public Accounting is a plus

CPA Certification is a plus

Demonstrated experience with GAAP and/or IFRS

Friendliness, enthusiasm, and reliability with a positive “team-player” attitude

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners

Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, result-driven environment

Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills

Experience of business intelligence tools and strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPointWHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $110,000
