Job Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of a transformation project, from planning to completion, including creating project documents, overseeing acquisitions, leading the transformation phase, and ensuring a seamless handover. The role demands a strategic thinker who can ensure financial assessments are accurate and that governance, management, and operational frameworks are effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

Craft comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring all aspects of the project are meticulously documented.

Manage the acquisition process by handling negotiations, due diligence, and integration planning to align with the project's strategy and create value.

Lead the transformation process, ensuring the projects objectives are achieved efficiently.

Oversee critical aspects of the handover process, ensuring compliance with project specifications and stakeholder expectations.

Ensure financial assessments are rigorously conducted, accurately reflecting the projects viability and fiscal integrity.

Establish strong governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance and industry standards are met.

Drive the implementation of operational best practices, ensuring that project execution aligns with strategic objectives and delivers exceptional results.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

A masters degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.

Minimum 10-12 years of experience in project management with a substantial portion of this time spent in roles that involve transformation, operational insight, and financial analysis in large-scale projects.

Proven experience in managing transformation projects within the government sector.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a complex project environment.

Excellent negotiation, financial acumen, and analytical skills.

Deep understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) principles.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
