General Manager (Retail Wholesale)

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Honours in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role with proven experience in wholesale or distribution management

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams

In-depth knowledge of wholesale industry practices, trends, and regulations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP software

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability & meet or exceed sales targets, increasing profit margins

Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including sales, procurement, warehouse management, and customer service

Manage and motivate a team of Sales Representatives, Warehouse & Administrative personnel

Establish and maintain strong relationships with Customers, Suppliers, and other Stakeholders

Monitor market trends and Competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Ensure market share growth & successful implementation of competitive strategies

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations

Analyze financial reports and performance metrics to assess branch performance and identify areas for improvement (financial KPIs, cost-saving initiatives)

Develop and implement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction

Resolve Customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute long-term business strategies & ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives & achievement of long-term goals
