SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Outreach/Mobile Van Driver is responsible for providing daily oversight to the operations of the mobile outreach. The Outreach/Mobile Van Driver is the main contact with outreach and reports to the Associate Director. Primary responsibilities include expansion of the mobile community testing, and enhancement of prevention and education messaging related to the specific grant needs. Position is part-time, contingent upon grant funding. Working hours are flexible, including evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the target population.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Handling public relations, such as developing strategic relationships, attending community events, and conducting informational presentations at universities, clubs, and civic groups and community establishments.

Mobile outreach events, marketing, and planning to promote the services of the organization.

Collecting and analyzing data on local demographics, developing results, and presenting the conclusions to the relevant departments.

Establishes and maintains a physical outreach activity schedule.

Participates in organizational annual events including but not limited to the Puerto Rican People’s Parade, Fiesta Boricua, Three Kings Day, and Haunted Paseo Boricua.

Performs other functions assigned.

This position requires compliance with all of The PRCC’s written standards, including its Standards of Conduct, all policies and procedures, and Regulatory Compliance requirements. Compliance will be considered as part of the regular performance evaluation.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with conducting outreach to local communities

Strong HIV/STI knowledge

Current CDL license

SKILLS:

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Strong organizational and management skills.

Good reporting, technical, and statistical skills.

LICENSURE:

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED, or some college Education.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

OSHA Category 3 - Involves no regular exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, and tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues are not a condition of employment.

Job Type: Part Time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
