Well established organization in the East Metro area seeks a self-motivated leader to oversee operations in the manufacturing facility. This individual will direct manufacturing personnel in the day to day operations.

The Plant Manager will evaluate continuous improvement opportunities in order to meet all operational goals for production, safety, quality, customer service, waste reduction and cost control. The individual in this position will be able to think strategically and act tactically; be comfortable dealing with change; be energetic and position; and a collaborative and approachable team player.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage production workflows to ensure quality production and on-time delivery.

Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Implement department strategies in alignment with organizational goals.

Utilize company resources efficiently and manage cost by keeping operational expenses within budget, and investigate ways to reduce costs, waste, and overtime hours.

Prepare annual budget.

In collaboration with HR, manage Production staffing requirements, including interviewing and selecting personnel.

Manage personnel including activities such as training, time and attendance, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.

Required Skills:

Highschool diploma or equivalent; BS in Business preferred.

Minimum 5 years of production management experience.

Working knowledge of digital print and finishing.

Proven skills in leadership and supervision.

Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing principles, equipment, and workflow.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office application and adept to learning new technology systems.

Knowledge of local, state and federal health and safety regulations.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

Strong organization and documentation skills.
