Job Description
Position: Desktop Support Technician
Location: Morrisville, PA
Duration: 12 months contract
Responsibilities
Provide technical support to employees by troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other computer peripherals
Respond to help desk tickets promptly and resolve technical problems efficiently
Set up and manage user accounts and profiles in Active Directory
Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches on computer systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support IT projects
Train employees on basic computer skills and best practices for using company technology
Requirements
Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role
Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software problems
Extensive knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
Strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy Management
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) preferred.
