Job Description
Oppenheimer Asset Management is seeking a Wealth Management and Advisor Business to join their Program Advisory team in New York City. The individual in this role will work with our financial professionals, stakeholders from all business units and relation 3rd parties around our product set build effective field communications, develop technology solutions with tech partners and interface with various teams, including Sales, Operations, Legal, Compliance and Trading.
Responsibilities:
Work with financial professionals around our advisory programs, offering solutions and enhancements to our product set
Analyze current business processes and systems, define needs and document business change and software requirements
Work with various business groups to assess and enhance processes, systems and workflows
Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions
Draft system specifications and requirements documentation and configure business workflows
Builds test scripts and perform User Acceptance Testing which included; running tests, documenting results, organizing testing meeting and preparing results for audit/compliance
Work with IT, internal and external, coordinating systems enhancements and updates to meet business needs
Works on program governance for all advisory solutions
Conduct training sessions on in-house applications via web-demonstrations and in person for new employees
Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation, financial professional communications and supplies help desk support
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
Have 1 to 3 years’ experience interfacing with business and technical teams
Possess a high degree of proficiency with technology including MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Experience writing and reviewing business processes, functional design and working among development teams
Experience with User Acceptance Testing
Bachelor’s Degree
Able to interface and articulate well with all levels of employees, management and clients in a highly professional, timely and friendly manner
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently and contribute to team effort
Creative, analytical thinker and problem solver
Exceptional ability to learn and teach new software systems/upgrades
Capable of multitasking and has consistent follow-up skills; meets deadlines
High attention to detail and accuracy, conscientious, professional demeanor, reliable
Compensation:
For job postings in New York City, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to the City of New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 at the time of this posting. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
