Your Role and Impact

The Presales Consultant engages the customer during their buyer journey working collaboratively with customer stakeholders and internal teams to win new business. The Presales process begins with the initial discovery of customer pain points and needs, proposing appropriate solutions to meet the customer's goals, and delivering product demonstrations that exhibit strong value to the prospective client. The Presales Consultant will also be integral in driving functional designs of new product initiatives and defining functional requirements for execution on the Product Roadmap.

7+ years industry experience with WMS implementations & sales

Expertise in warehousing operations and industry best practices

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment while wearing multiple hats

Natural talent for soft selling, being compelling, and hearing the unspoken

Outstanding creative problem solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement through a Da Vinci Unified platform capability

Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation and writing skillsYour Responsibilities

Be a senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Da Vinci Unified (DVU) system functionality, warehousing best practices, 3PL operations and WMS capabilities

Conduct initial Pre-Sales Discovery on prospect requirements & needs

Propose preliminary system solutions to customer requirements, and lead customer demonstrations of DVU functionality to illustrate recommended solutions

Manage customer executive relationships during the Sales Process, serving as the senior WMS subject matter expert and winning customer confidence to choose Da Vinci during the customer’s evaluation phase

Scope preliminary implementation SOWs in the Sales Process across customer segments, matching appropriate service levels to customer budgets, complexity and scope to set the project up for success

Lead the functional design & scope on new feature enhancements, partnering closely with Product & Engineering to provide market/customer feedback and industry expertise for best-in-class new product capabilitiesWho You Are
