Role: ArcGis Developer

Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune

Hybrid Mode Position

Exp: 5+ years

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Explorer.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Customize and extend the functionality of ArcGIS Online through web app development, scripting, and integration with other systems.

Design and implement geoprocessing tools and workflows in ArcGIS Pro to automate spatial analysis tasks.

Utilize ArcGIS Explorer to create immersive 3D visualizations and maps for data exploration and analysis.

Perform troubleshooting and debugging of GIS applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in ArcGIS technologies and recommend best practices for implementation.

Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders on GIS-related projects.

Document code, processes, and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain project documentation.

Collaborate with the GIS community and participate in forums, conferences, and user groups to exchange knowledge and ideas.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or related field.

Proven experience in developing GIS applications using ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Explorer.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C# for GIS development.

Strong understanding of geospatial concepts, spatial analysis, and cartographic principles.

Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) and APIs for building interactive web maps.

Familiarity with databases and spatial data formats (e.g., Esri File Geodatabase, GeoJSON, Shapefile).

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies is a plus.

Esri certification (e.g., ArcGIS Desktop Entry, ArcGIS Developer Associate) is desirable but not required.
