UT Health East Texas is hiring a BE/BC General Neurologist to join our outpatient Neurological Institute faculty team growing in beautiful Tyler, Texas.
About the Position:
Currently 6 Neurologists (3 Neurohospitalist, 1 general, 2 movement disorder specialists)
95% outpatient, 5% inpatient
Monday-Friday (8 a.m.-5 p.m.)
High patient volume due to expanding practice
Patients: 18+ years old, 12-18 new and follow up mix per day
Call: Shared night call coverage with outpatient and inpatient physicians
One weekend call every other month - inpatient
Neurology Residency potentially starting in 2024
Opportunity to teach and work with residents
Ideal candidate: EEG and EMG/NCU skills preferred
Compensation Package may include:
Base salary + wRVU production incentive
