As the Integrated Management System Document Control Manager reporting into the Quality team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless coordination, communication, and execution of Rondo’s large-scale thermal energy storage projects and ensure our safety, quality, and functional work procedures are well-controlled and audited for compliance. You will work closely with Rondo Project Managers and functional leaders in commercial, engineering, and supply chain, with a focus on leading and managing the document control system process at Rondo Energy. This person will act as a team lead, providing technical direction, resource planning, and hands-on support in day-to-day operations You will be a linchpin in deploying Rondo’s technology from the design phase and construction into production handover of equipment upgrades and new equipment installation. You will be the key interface to our equipment vendors, equipment designers, manufacturing engineering, factory design and facilities teams as a document control manager. The role will be responsible for ensuring up-to-date equipment documentation, records, procedures, standards, and the quality management systems. This includes close coordination of documentation control processes with our NPI and Engineering teams.

What You Will Do (key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to):

Project Document Control

Document change management coordination for revision of drawing, specifications or quality/safety records required for project execution.

Implement and improve data tracking tools and organization

Ensure proper hand-off of design drawing and specification records from scoping to design to construction

Construction Documentation/Administration Phases tasks include file sharing, print coordination, logging RFIs & submittals, QA/QC documents stamping and coordination.

Project Close-Out tasks include dead filing and punch list tracking.

Ensuring up-to-date equipment documentation, records, procedures, standards.

Build positive, trusting relationships within the team and across the organization while scoping, planning, and executing on multifaceted technical projects.

Management System Document Controls

Revision control and archiving of standard operating policies and procedures for the Rondo Management System.

Periodic scheduling and audit leadership of standard procedures to gage compliance to those procedures.

Coordination of document changes, communication, and audit of NPI, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Delivery team work procedures.

What You Will Bring:

5+ years of experience in an administrative capacity preferably with an architecture, design or construction firm.

Bachelor's Degree (Construction management preferred) or equivalent of relevant experience and evidence of exceptional ability.

Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Superior verbal and written communication skills.

Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

High level of professionalism and strong sense of urgency.

Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Sharepoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Proficiency in Bluebeam, Aconex, PlanGrid, and MS Project strongly preferred.

Ability to work with minimal guidance; Proactive, motivated self-starter.

Rondo HQ is close to Oakland airport - one block from the Bay - and has stunning Bay views!

The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000. This role necessitates being on-site at our Alameda HQ. The role is eligible for Rondo's excellent benefits listed above plus additional compensation in the form of equity. Please note that some pay bands may have wide ranges of compensation to accommodate candidates' diverse sets of skill levels and experience.
