IMMEDIATE new job opening for a Mobile Native App Test Engineer to join our team and work for our long-time, global client. In this role, you will report to the QA Director and be responsible for testing native mobile applications. We are specifically looking for someone with hands-on working experience with iOS and Android testing native mobile apps and who can adhere to quality processes.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with other teams to help discover and eliminate problems by finding defects and deficiencies in code.

Test with real test devices (i.e. iPhone, Android phone, tablets, watches, etc.).

Test using Charles Proxy, APIs or Postman (or similar type of tool).

Test iOS and Android devices in a native mobile application architecture.

Use xCode and Android Studio to build and configure the mobile application.

Display knowledge of the development PR and branch merging process.

Display knowledge of mobile application quality assurance processes.

Test digital payments/wallets.

Create defect/bug tickets and reports based on test findings.

Work within cross-functional teams.

Write detailed test cases.

Detect, troubleshoot, and report quality problems and end user issues.

Work in fast paced environment supported by the agile methodology.

Requirements:

3+ years of solid hands-on experience testing native mobile apps

Native mobile applications (iOS and Android)

Effective communication and collaboration skills

APIs

Postman

Charles Proxy

xCode

Android Studio

Ability to write detailed test cases
