The Position

To qualify for consideration of Senior Staff Specialist, you must have been working at a Specialist level for a minimum of 8 years.

For Staff Specialist, you will have successfully completed the FACEM fellowship exam written and clinical components within 3 months of the date of completion of this selection process AND are elected to Fellowship within 12 months of the selection process.Excellent pay rates, salary packaging and flexible working conditions with 11.5% super.

VISA/Sponsorship for eligible candidates and consideration of reimbursement of relocation expenses for interstate candidates (subject to review and approval).

Approximately 20% paediatric presentations.

Significant trauma caseload.

Potential for FACEMs to be involved in the Regional Aeromedical Retrieval Service.

Be registered or be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Hold a Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or an equivalent higher specialist qualification.
