A client-centric immigration law firm is looking for its next attorney all-star. We have grown so much and so fast and are looking for an extremely creative advocate to help continue our life-changing work. A strong candidate will be extremely compassionate for immigrants and dedicated to winning. Our attorneys are always the first to offer a solution and the last to leave the fight. We currently have offices in San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas and soon will expand to additional offices in other states. Being located in our office in Irving is a requirement. This position will require travel as we represent clients before USCIS and EOIR in all states. Must speak Spanish fluently. Personality testing to ensure a cultural fit will be required but covered by the firm. Salary range $85k-$110k plus benefits.

The perfect candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for advocacy for the immigrant community. Our firm provides representation that is highly client-centered and requires an associate that is patient, efficient, thorough, and creative.

Duties:

Develop and implement removal defense strategies for clients.

Represent clients in immigration court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals.

Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders.

Prepare and file legal briefs, motions, and appeals.

Stay current with changes in immigration law and regulations.

Manage caseload and meet deadlines for court appearances and filings.

Provide clear and accurate billing to clients.

Requirements:

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to a state bar.

Minimum 5 years of experience practicing immigration law, with a focus on removal defense.

Strong leadership and management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Commitment to social justice and serving immigrant communities.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
