Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The Mobile Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for providing on-site radiographic exams for patients at various locations, including homes, assisted living facilities, and other non-traditional settings. This role requires a strong understanding of radiographic techniques and equipment, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Perform radiographic exams using portable x-ray equipment and other diagnostic imaging technology
Set up and position patients for exams according to established protocols
Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations
Communicate with patients and caregivers to explain the exam process and answer any questions or concerns
Maintain accurate and complete documentation of exams and patient information
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
Current state license and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
Entry Level (1 year experience preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Flexibility to work at various locations and potentially travel to multiple sites in a single day
Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
