Job Description
Essential Key Functions and Accountabilities: (Responsibilities and major tasks performed)
Lead the process to select, verify, prepare, and ship products to the required destination to meet the shipment schedule.
Verify and receive incoming shipments, ensuring that the packing slip matches the physical product delivered, and resolving all discrepancies with the shipper and/or trucking company.
Assure that accurate and complete ASN's (Advance Shipping Notice) are sent at the time of shipment for customer's requirements (As needed)
Assure the process for proper storage, protection, and identification of materials.
Prepare the required items for shipment as required per the premium freight request. Gather and compute premium freight costs and report them to specified associates.
Complete invoicing process for all outbound shipments to customers (internal and subcontractors) at the time of shipment.
Maintain or develop required shipping and receiving records (e.g., packing slips and releases, bills of lading, invoices, etc.) for a specified time.
Assure that all outgoing products are properly packaged and labeled to customer specifications
Support the resolution of inventory inaccuracy issues, including on-hand, WIP, received, and shipped.
Conduct and maintain records of visual inspections of received parts to verify they meet cosmetic and other related requirements.
Conduct administrative tasks and inspections as needed to support the shipping and quality departments.

Experience and Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse experience
Previous experience operating a forklift is a plus
Working Conditions:
Walking, bending, standing, carrying product, reaching overhead and heavy lifting
