Your future team:

The Controlling Manager plays an important role within the ROCKWOOL Global Business Service Center (RGBS) organization and directly reports to Head of ROCKWOOL GBS. You will be part of RGBS Finance management team of highly skilled managers and experts. Our Controlling department, consists of three teams, providing Controlling services for ROCKWOOL Group in Europe and North America. As a Manager, you will manage a team of 3 Team leaders.

What you will be doing:

As a Controlling Manager you will be responsible for the Controlling processes and projects, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. You’ll be planning, managing, and delivering Controlling business processes, managing stakeholder relationships, nurturing talent, and contributing to finance strategy.

You will lead a team of highly motivated people and young talents, driving efficiency and process improvements in collaboration with the Systems & Process department.

More specifically, you will:

Monitor, review, and refine performance metrics including SLAs and KPIs, taking appropriate actions,

Ensure compliance to the processes and manage governance accordingly,

Drive standardization and optimal service placement across business units & regions in close collaboration with local Finance organizations and the Systems & Standards department,

Drive efficiency and improve data quality, initiate and review cost/benefit analysis of activities to enhance process performance,

Identify and execute continuous improvement best practices, cost reductions, and business opportunities in cooperation with the Systems & Standards department,

Review, monitor and update Controlling services related policies, procedures, manuals, flowcharts and projects,

Provide support for group projects completion,

Maintain and establish excellent internal and external working relationships with auditors, Finance and other stakeholders,

Act as key contact to all external groups impacted by the process,

Support internal and external audit requests,

Support of stakeholder governance model including quarterly performance reviews for internal customers

Lead and motivate the Controlling team to ensure that the department functions effectively and efficiently,

Set standards and manage talent development, including appraisals, staff succession planning and workforce capabilities,

Be accountable for budgeting staff and resource expenses.

Participate in RGSB Finance Strategy design and deployment.

What you bring:

Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience,

Effective multitasking and management skills in fast-paced environment,

Advanced knowledge of Controlling processes,

Analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement,

Strong affinity with automation and standardization,

Proactive approach to anticipating and taking initiative,

Team-oriented managerial style with a focus on people,

Business-minded mindset and collaboration with key stakeholders,

Fluency in English,

Readiness to mobility projects.
