Project Engineer - CAD

Experience of 3D Modelling and 2D drafting/detailing of mechanical components and assemblies

Ability to understand requirements, perform basic design calculations, create design concepts / packaging layouts

Ability to create detailed designs considering DFM and DFA, Create detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings

Good understanding of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT) and exposure to tolerance stack-up calculations

Understanding of manufacturing processes such as fabrication, casting, forging and machining

Understanding of sizing standards of common components such as steel sheets, tubes, pipes, flanges, etc

Good verbal and written communication skills

Team player

Software Skills- CATIA, CREO, NX, Solidworks
