Due to expansion our Manufacturing & Maintenance workshop based in Townsville is currently seeking experienced Spray Painters and Blasters.
The role will be offered on a full-time permanent basis working day Monday to Friday
AQF Certificate lll level qualification or equivalent experience
Technological and tool handling skills
Knowledge of vaious Painitng and finishing techniques
Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to
- Clean and prepare surface for painting using air-powered equipment
- Prepare spray booth and blasting trailers for painting
- Complete pre-start checks as per SOP
- Carry out masking procedures
- Use pressure-fed Spray Guns
- Apply paint touch up techniques
- Some heavy lifting involved
- Planning, organising and prioritising your daily tasks
- Abide to occupational hazards and application of appropriate control measures
- Always comply with work health and safety requirements
- Understand and apply quality control techniques
- Able to undertake a pre-employment Medical
- Report to the Workshop Supervisor or Manager
