Essential Skills Requirements:
- Proven track record in operations management, handling complex projects and collaborating across diverse stakeholders.
- Extensive expertise in DevOps Processes and tools.
- Proficiency in ITIL principles and processes, particularly related to IT Operations.
- Strong background in Release Management within complex and critical environments.
- Familiarity with Agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Competence in project management principles and methodologies pertaining to software development.
- Analytical skills to identify areas for process improvement and operational efficiency enhancement.
- Ability to meet deadlines, provide detailed progress reports, and drive project delivery.
- Willingness to undertake additional responsibilities as per the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.
Advantageous Skills Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with BMW Group IT Operations processes, KPIs, and deliverables.
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
- Strong documentation and reporting capabilities, including SOP creation aligned with AWM.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- Degree/Diploma in IT/Business or equivalent experience.
- ITIL Certification is advantageous.
- Experience or certification in Operational Excellence/Lean Management.
- Project Management Qualification is a plus.
- Scrum Master Qualification is desirable.
- 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master.
- 8+ years of Operations experience encompassing Processes, KPIs, Quality Management, etc.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Assess current processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for enhancing operational excellence.
- Coordinate daily with Instructional Content Designer and Coordinator to align project plans, timelines, and priorities.
- Develop and document processes, ensuring continuous review and optimization based on industry best practices and compliance changes.
- Create and execute a comprehensive plan to monitor key training transitions, content development, and delivery timelines.
- Lead Operational Excellence initiatives within your area of responsibility.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including Process and Product Owners, Line Managers, and Agile Masters to drive operational improvements.
- Implement and enhance Operations structures and processes in alignment.
- Foster continuous improvement in Operations knowledge and quality maturity.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and engagement across departments and customers.
- Monitor Initiative performance, progress, and risks, recommending and implementing risk mitigating plans as needed.
- Provide relevant reporting to stakeholders on Initiative progress.
