Engineer Quality - Plant

Knowledge of SMT process (SPI, Pick and place, reflow process.), ICT (in circuit testing) and Potting process (encapsulation) for EV products

Familiar with new product development of Motor controller units, convertors, Vehicle control Unit, Engine control Unit process

Analysis of failures populated PCB of the EV products at EOL and ICT stages

Witness the NPD builds and take the necessary actions for the issues reported during the builds along with CFT support

Ensure the internal and customer audit with no major non-conformance

Maintain Departmental Objective Tracking Sheet (NPD PPM, Customer PPM, On-time PPAP) and Customer Complaint Log

Conducting DR/ PPAP along with customers; reviewing documents like PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC along with stakeholders

Facilitating quality excellence through quality management tools; contributing in Quality improvement activity and smooth launch of NPD projects

Tracking of APQP phase wise deliverables at Proto, Dev and PPAP stages and reporting the blocking points to Mgmt. for NPD projects

Conduct Internal Production trial run for the new products and identify the gaps in the process and issues in the products and monitor the closure of the gaps with CFT support

Performing new customer audits according to the checklist/requirement; analysing and improving the existing systems

Single point of contact for all the customer concerns and addressing the same in timely manner.

Assisting RD Team on CC Warranty complaints and upcoming project.

Trained / certified for Electronics assembly acceptability standard IPC-A-610

Knowledge on IATF core tools (PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA)

Certified internal Auditor for IATF 16949.

Proficient in problem solving tools - 8D, 5Why analysis etc
