This position is responsible for conducting inspections and analysis on test tyre performance in the market for CEAT products for the assigned territory. The position is also responsible for understanding customer feedback and conduct market benchmark analysis on tyres of competitors on predefined performance parameters.

Functions And Responsibilities
Operational Activities
Test Tyre fitment, analysis and Reporting
Ensure that the tyres allocated by the Product Development team are fitted with customers as per schedule
Understand the specific requirements and specifications such as load capacity or region of operations etc. before approaching customers for fitment
Support the Sales team in getting customers to fit CEAT test tyres and providing support in databased performance related discussions to influence customer choice
Review and verify the commercial operations executed by the commercial team for sale of test tyres such that it is in line with company policy
Track vehicles fitted with test tyres and maintain effective communication channel with the customers and vehicle drivers to for effectively planning inspections to ensure adherence to test schedule
Conduct inspection and track performance of test tyres as per the prescribed standard operations and record the same as per prescribed format
Document feedback shared by the customers and vehicle drivers while reporting
Conduct technical analysis on the data collected and submit reports to the superiors in the team and the Product development team
Competitor Tyre Performance benchmarking
Track vehicles fitted with competitor tyres and maintain effective communication channel with the customers and vehicle drivers to for effectively planning inspections
Conduct inspection and track performance of competitor tyres for the assigned region, product or any particular product specifications
Document comparative feedback shared by the customers and vehicle drivers on CEAT and competitor products
Conduct technical analysis on the data collected and submit reports to the superiors in the team and the Product development team
Analysis on Customer Complaints
Understand critical customers issues and complaints for the assigned region from the Product Development team
Conduct a detailed analysis of customer complaints with regards to product failures or product performance issues in the market as per the guidance of the Product Development team
Prepare reports on analysis conducted with detailed databased observations and root cause analysis on customer issues
Documentation
Share daily reports on actual progress against planned test schedule for assigned test tyres
Preparation of requisite monthly reports on Improvement activities (eg. Kaizen, 5S, etc.), Unsafe Conditions, etc.
Education and Experience Required
Education:
Bachelors of Technology or
Diploma in Polymer Science and Rubber Technology
Experience:
1 - 3 Years for a Graduate
2 - 4 years for a Diploma
