The Role:

Medcan is recruiting for a Casual Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) Mammography & Bone Density to join our growing high-performance clinical team. We are seeking an experienced and client focused professional with a great attitude. The role is accountable for the effective delivery of mammography and bone density exams for clients during their Annual Health Assessment and other services at Medcan. This role will also assist with facilitating the flow of patients through the Clinic and coordinating with other staff to ensure exceptional delivery of service.

The Accountabilities:

Patient preparation for and performance of mammograms and bone density scans following the required guidelines for the procedures

Record and process patient data

Operate and maintain equipment, and perform basic quality control checks

Update, file and maintain client information

Review of previous reports and discussion with physicians and radiologists

Prepare for the next day's client list by checking for previous exams

Assist the clinic with other duties as appropriate

The Requirements:

Member of CMRITO

Bone Density and Mammography experience

Superior organization and time management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in MS Word and Outlook

This is a Casual position based on clinic needs between regular office hours primarily on Saturdays with occasional vacation coverage as needed, and is located at our Oakville location.
