Job Details:

As a Permanent Sourcing Engineer, you will be an integral part of our Engineering team. Your role will be to oversee the sourcing and procurement of electrical and mechanical components required for our diverse range of projects. You will be instrumental in the development of our HVAC and refrigeration systems, and you will play a pivotal role in our data center cooling and central air conditioning projects. With your expertise in global procurement, you will ensure that our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently, and you will use your knowledge of ERP systems to enhance our operations.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to meet product and project specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define sourcing requirements.

Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with the company's business goals.

Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best quality, cost, and delivery times.

Continuously monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans.

Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.

Drive cost-saving initiatives and strategies to improve procurement efficiency.

Ensure compliance with the company's policies and regulatory requirements.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

Use ERP systems for managing and streamlining procurement processes.

Qualifications:

*** Bilingual Chinese or Mandarin preferred ***

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience with global procurement of copper pipe, steel, joint processing, standard fasteners or sheet metal related.

Proven experience with HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical design, and central air conditioning technologies.

Strong knowledge of global procurement processes and strategies.

Experience with data center cooling is a plus.

Proficiency in using ERP systems for procurement.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
