Overview of the Accounts Receivable Supervisor role:
Supervision and Leadership:
Provide leadership and guidance to the accounts receivable team, including training, coaching, and performance management.
Set performance goals and objectives for the team, and monitor progress towards achieving them.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to ensure high levels of team morale and productivity.
Accounts Receivable Management:
Oversee the invoicing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness in billing customers for products or services rendered.
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to facilitate timely collections.
Review customer accounts for discrepancies and resolve billing issues promptly and effectively.
Coordinate with sales, customer service, and other departments to address customer inquiries and concerns related to billing and payments.
Cash Application and Reconciliation:
Supervise the process of applying customer payments to their respective accounts accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile payments received with invoices issued and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.
Preferred qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Supervisor role:
