Robert Half is looking for a Procurement Expert to support our Virginia-based client with a long-term project. The procurement expert will have experiences with USAID, Sourcing, Contracting, and Procurement support tasks. What you get to do every day:
•Support and/or coordinate project kick off for upcoming tenders
•Create RFQ/RFP documents, including documenting requirements and specifications
•Support research and identification of potential bidders
•Support evaluation of supplier bids/tenders as well as supplier negotiations and document negotiation memos
•Support contracting process, including executing NDAs, Master Services/Purchase Agreement, and Purchase Orders
•Develop status updates and communication materials as needed
•Ongoing project management support through delivery of equipment/services
•Performing any other Procurement Coordination Tasks as directed by the Project Manager or delegates
•Other procurement duties as requested by client
Degree in Business or Related Field
Experiences with RFQ/RFP Process
Supplier Negotiation
Contract Negotiations
2+ years working with USAID
Intermediate MS Excel
Nice to Have for both roles:
•Experience within Power and Utilities Industries highly preferred.
•Experience using sourcing tools such as Jagger, SAP Ariba, etc. preferred.
