Your key responsibilities

Everything you’ll do will come back to providing exceptional audit activities for our clients. Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers, so you’ll be a high-profile contact when it comes to resolving complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, you’ll become a credible advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries.

Skills and attributes for success

Implementing planned audit procedures and programs for substantial sections of an audit to enable the firm to render an opinion on the financial statements of our clients.

Planning engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addressing risk.

Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge of complex accounting and auditing concepts and applying them in performing audit procedures within the allotted time.

Performing detailed review of financial statements and other schedules required by regulatory agencies.

Coordinating with cross functional teams such as IT Audit and Tax Specialists to ensure the timely execution and completion of audit.

Applying new and emerging developments in accounting in servicing clients.

Consistently delivering quality client services by monitoring progress.

Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.

Maintaining long-term client relationships and networks.

Cultivating and managing business development opportunities.

To qualify for the role, you must have

A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and 3 years of related experience. Alternatively, will accept, a master's degree or foreign equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and 2 years related experience.

2 years of audit experience with a public accounting firm;

2 years of experience in planning and execution on audits of internal controls over financial reporting;

2 years of experience planning, execution, and reporting on audits of financial statements; and,

2 years of experience in the use of audit documentation software.
