Oracle Application Specialist

Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for an Oracle Application Specialist to join their team in the Boston, MA area. This successful resource will be responsible for providing support and ensuring Oracle applications are operating at peak performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage Agile PLM and implement process improvements

Understand requirements from stakeholders, management technical specifications and design documents, and design PLM applications and automations

Implement business improvement activities from initiation to implementation including gathering requirements, writing functional design documents, writing test scripts, and training end users

Perform QA reviews of configurations for implementations or changes

Manage maintenance, patches, upgrades, and overall health of business applications

Guide team in developing reports, customizations, interfaces, and extensions

Develop data structures to support business solutions

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree

5+ years of experience coding, scripting, and supporting business applications

Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS, PLM, Database enterprise edition and BI Publisher

Knowledge of document control, manufacturing, and engineering

Familiar with Core Java, java script, J2EE Swing, Agile API

Experience with Agile PLM creating reports

PREFERRED SKILLS/CHARACTERISTICS:

Experience in defense industry

TERMS:

This is a contract to hire opportunity with a wage up to $74/hr based on experience. Benefits will be offered by Pinnacle while on contract.
