Senior Electrical Engineer

To propel their continued growth and maintain their standard of excellence, they are in search of an innovative and meticulous Senior Electrical Engineer to spearhead their engineering projects, pushing the boundaries of creativity and efficiency.

Focus:

Coordinate with local power utility companies for new/upgrades of electrical service.

Conduct electrical system analysis and calculations.

Design electrical power, control, and lighting systems from service to load.

Design fire alarm systems and low voltage systems.

Plan service room layout, ensure utility conduit coordination, grounding, and lightning protection.

Prepare design narrative and feasibility reports.

Conduct electrical and fire alarm field surveys, inspections, and punch lists.

Utilize engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e., Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD).

Skill Set:

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 6 years of relevant design experience.

PE License in New York required.

Ability to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure.

Strong multitasking skills, capable of handling several projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills and proactive collaboration during the design and construction process.
