We are partnered with a leading general contractor specializing in water related construction projects.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in water treatment projects, with specific experience in water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, pump stations, or underground utilities. A degree in civil engineering or construction management is required. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of water treatment projects in collaboration with our clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of water treatment projects, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and quality control.

Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements are met and compliance with applicable regulations.

Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project requirements, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.

Prepare project plans, schedules, and progress reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders regularly.

Procure materials, equipment, and services necessary for project execution, while adhering to project specifications and budget constraints.

Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed to address issues and ensure project success.

Maintain a safe working environment and promote adherence to safety protocols among project team members.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members, resolving technical issues and challenges effectively.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.

Proven experience in water treatment projects, with specific experience in water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, pump stations, or underground utilities.

Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to water treatment projects.

Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working at a general contractor.

Familiarity with construction management processes and best practices.

Experience working with municipal or government clients.
