Electrical Design Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Medium and Low Voltage)

Location: Remote with occasional travel to Portsmouth or Manchester, NH

Project Overview:

- Project duration: 5-7 years with occasional onsite presence required

- Emphasis on power systems design

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop design and construction documents using AutoCAD for various facilities

- Perform electrical engineering design, calculations, and equipment selection

- Conduct assessments of electrical systems and perform facility electrical surveys

- Design low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution systems

- Read and understand medium voltage breaker control schematics

- Experience with SCADA systems and power management systems

- Perform power system analysis and prepare technical reports

- Review equipment submittals and provide construction observation

Qualifications:

- 3-15 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical system analysis software (SKM, EasyPower, ETAP)

- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code, IEEE standards, and industry construction practices
