POSITION SUMMARY

We have an exciting opportunity to join Lovelace Medical Center as a Director of Case Management

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Director, Case Management include:

Directs and administers strategic, operational, fiscal and personnel activities of the Case Management department to ensure procedures adhere to standards of various accrediting and regulatory agencies.

Prepares and manages budgets, manages/supervises staff and ensures quality services are provided through daily operations.

Manages and oversees plan of care for patients.

Serves as a liaison and provides support.

Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, business or related field of study; Relevant education and/or experience may be substituted for one another in accordance with policy

Master’s Degree preferred

Five (5) years of case management experience of which three (3) years must have been in a management capacity. Relevant education and/or experience may be substituted for one another in accordance to policy

Licensure:

Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire) or current Case Management Certificate/Fellowship Status; employee will be required to maintain license and requisite CEUs
