Come join the City of Rochester's leadership team as the Manager of the Office of Violence Prevention! As the Manager of Violence Prevention, you'll oversee a range of initiatives at the city, including Pathways to Peace and the Office of Neighborhood Safety, and you'll work with a variety of City and community-based organizations and agencies working to end violent crime in Rochester.

CITY RESIDENCY WILL BE REQUIRED WITHIN ONE YEAR OF HIRE.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or G.E.D. AND

A. Master's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Services, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field AND two (2) years full-time experience in developing, administering, evaluating/analyzing community engagement and outreach programs AND two (2) years of experience supervising staff;

OR

B. Bachelor's degree in in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Services, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field AND four (4) years of experience developing, administering, evaluating/analyzing community engagement and outreach programs AND two (2) years of experience supervising staff;

OR

C. Associate's degree in in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Services, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field AND six (6) years of experience developing, administering, evaluating/analyzing community engagement and outreach programs AND two (2) years of experience supervising staff;

OR

D. Eight (8) years of experience developing, administering, evaluating/analyzing community engagement and outreach programs AND two (2) years of experience supervising staff.
