Full Stack Mainframe Engineer

**Must be local to North Carolina.**

Our financial services client is looking for a Full Stack Mainframe Engineer to join their team.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $60.00 - $75.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Requirements of the Full Stack Mainframe Engineer:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 5 years of web/application development experience

Experience doing a deep dive across a technology stack to determine root cause of issues/errors

Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker)

Experience with cloud technologies Azure/AWS

Experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2/SQL, CICS, VSAM

Experience supporting and maintaining applications in a DevOps environment using CI/CD tools

Experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy

Experience with financial platforms are good to have

Support experience with Event Driven applications using Kafka

Ability to do either a short-term resolution or longer-term strategic resolution for issues

Strong proven understanding of Java/Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Angular, Node JS

Knowledge of supporting server-side components using REST API and backend SQL /Stored Procedure Components

Exposure to Oracle and distributed warehouses
