Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled VoIP Engineer to join our team in Oshkosh, WI. As a VoIP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems.

Our ideal candidates have experience with Alcatel VoIP systems, we are open to considering candidates with expertise in Cisco, Avaya, or Mitel/Shortel VoIP systems.

Responsibilities:

Installation: Install Lucent Alcatel telecommunications equipment and systems according to specifications and industry standards.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of Lucent Alcatel equipment.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with Lucent Alcatel hardware, software, and network connectivity.

Repair: Conduct repairs on faulty Lucent Alcatel equipment promptly to minimize downtime and restore functionality.

Testing: Conduct tests and quality assurance checks on Lucent Alcatel systems to verify proper operation and compliance with performance standards.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs for future reference and auditing purposes.

Training: Provide training and support to end-users and

Requirements:

5+ years of experience working with VoIP systems, preferably in a corporate environment.

Proficiency with Alcatel VoIP systems is preferred, but experience with Cisco, Avaya, or Mitel/Shortel systems will also be considered.

Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently to resolve technical issues.

Excellent customer service skills with a passion for delivering exceptional support to end-users.

Networking background is a plus, with knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, and routing protocols. As well as PRI knowledge/ experience.

Ability to work fully onsite in Oshkosh, WI, during regular business hours.
