Sr. Python Developer with SDET / automation experience

In this role, you'll help shape the future of forecasting for one of the largest mortgage industry companies in the world. We are looking for a strong automation-focused Python Developer who can help improve and manage data-heavy test automation.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC).

Experience navigating and utilizing AWS services for test environments and data pipelines.

Well-versed with Python

Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) - Pytest

Experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) by developing Integration Tests using Python & AWS by using the Python library - Behave

Strong automation experience in data-related projects

Proficiency with Java (nice to have)

Strong testing automation background

Experience with test automation tools, Ideally backend API

Experience working in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD)

Experience working in the Financial industry is an added advantage.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

High-energy, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines

Ability to provide results with minimal supervision

Able to write, present information, and respond to questions from stakeholders

Contribute individually and as a member of a team.
