Insight Global is seeking an Electronic Warfare Self Protection Engineer to join the team of a large aerospace engineering/manufacturing company located Oklahoma City, OK. This person's main purpose will be collaborating with customers to develop, design, and validate complex electronic and electrical systems for the E-7A program with a focus on self-protection capabilities. Other responsibilities include:

Design and develop hardware and interface specifications.

Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware, and software designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, aircraft certification requirements, and customer specifications.

Test and validate system designs to ensure operational and functional requirements are met.

Monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance.

Focus on hardware qualification and aircraft certification processes.

Must Haves:

Active Secret Clearance

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field (STEM)

3+ years of experience with electronic and electrical system design principles and testing/validating system designs to ensure requirements are met

Strong knowledge of hardware qualification and aircraft certification processes

Plusses:

Knowledge of warfare

Familiarity with E-7A program and commercial derivatives
