Information Technology Security Engineer

The rate is $70 to $75 per hour

Hybrid position: 1 to 2 days onsite in NYC or Jersey City, NJ

Responsibilities:

Oversee and maintain various security systems

Strengthen network infrastructure security

Drive security projects from conception to implementation

Establish and uphold data security standards for AWS and cloud resources

Required Skills:

Proficiency in security systems engineering, network security, data protection, and cryptography

Experience with implementing and managing DLP solutions

Familiarity with firewalls like PaleAlto and Checkpoint

Expertise in securing AWS and Azure cloud services

Knowledge of SIEM platforms such as Saluak or ELK

Understanding of security threats and mitigation techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification
